Jordan Buskirk and Randal Crosley both appeard in Greene County Court today for an initial hearing to be formerly charged in the death of 19 year old Katelyn Wolfe.

Both entered not guilty pleas to the several felony charges that they both face in connection to the murder.

The pre-trial for Crosley and Buskirk is scheduled for Aug. 5

Official felony charges filed against two Jasonville men in connection to the death of 19 year old Katelyn Wolfe of Linton.

Police say that 26 year old Jordan Buskirk, and 25 year old Randal E. Crosley, planed to rape and murder someone but didn’t know who. 

The two will make initial court appearances today. 

What happened that night? 

Buskirk told police that “it was just something that popped in their heads”. 

He then told police that he and Crosley sold Wolfe some Valium pills on June 5, and that Crosley sent her a text later that night, making arrangements to pick her up near her home in Linton. 

Then the pair allegedly stopped along a county road, pulled her from the car and started to rape her as Crosley choked Wolfe until she passed out. 

Buskirk told officers he then handcuffed Wolfe behind her back while Crosley taped her legs and mouth with duct tape and struck her several times in the face after she tried to bite them. 

Crosley then put his own shirt over Wolfe’s face and put more tape over her head. Buskirk then wrapped a rope around her neck and choked her until she stopped struggling. 

They then took Wolfe to a lake, where they dragged her body to a ledge tied a boat anchor to her and then threw her body in the water.randal 

The two also used Wolfe’s cell phone to update her Facebook page and send text messages to make it look as if she were still alive.
