It pays to be a Super Bowl MVP. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has signed a new deal for $120.6 million, the biggest in NFL history.

Upon signing the new six-year deal Monday afternoon, Flacco said, "I'm worth what I'm worth. I think I bring to the table what I bring to the table. The fact that we won the Super Bowl just comes with that….I think I give this team the best chance to win moving forward."

Under the new deal, he's guaranteed $52 million. It comes a year after Flacco turned down the Ravens attempt to re-sign him with a considerably smaller deal. Flacco said, "It was never necessarily about the money but it was about earning that respect and feeling like I was respected around here."

  • To shoe or not to shoe

    Posted by Laura Bradshaw

Weddings- time is almost here for peak wedding time!!  Question comes up as you are spending an astronomical amount on the dress- what about the shoes?

Chances are, your shoes will hardly be visible.  But maybe you have a dress that you will see your shoes occasionally, or always.

I've seen blingy flip flops, tennies and really expensive shoes.  So- what to do?  Go for comfort, since you'll be on your feet a lot of the day, or go for style.

Maybe a combination of the two??  Start in style, bring comfort??

    HELP the brides to be!!

  • Guy Code!! Well- at least as what not to wear anyway.

It doesn’t matter if it’s fair or not, guys have a lot more flexibility with what they wear – especially when compared with the pressure women are under to dress up and look great.

But that doesn’t mean guys can wear anything. There are limits.

Here’s a rundown of some clothes that guys should never wear in public:

    • Cut-off shirts
    • Crocs
    • Trucker hats
    • V-necks
    • Jorts
    • Socks and flip-flops
    • Fanny packs
    • Snuggies
    • Tucked-In sports jerseys
    • Mesh shirts
    • Speedos (Uncoached.com)

The 2013 Grammy Awards found Hayes talking face-to-face with one of his musical heroes, John Mayer. The pop singer and guitar virtuoso actually sought out Hayes, rather than the other way around. “He actually found my dressing room, right before the show,” Hayes shares. “He heard I was nervous and said, ‘Dude, you’re gonna rock it, do your thing.’”

Although he didn’t win any of the awards he was nominated for, Hayes said the show was an amazing, if not humbling experience.

“You suddenly feel very insecure and unaccomplished as a person in life,” he said laughing.

  • Best/Worst celebrities to wait on.

    Posted by Laura Bradshaw

I mentioned who the best celebrities were:  Mark Wahlberg, polite and a great tipper.  Matt Damon, so nice you forget he's a celebrity.  Louis CK- comedian, super friendly and a great tipper.

So- who is on the naughty list?

Catherine Zeta-Jones!!!  Apparently she is scowly and rude...she wont make eye contact with the staff and has so many special food requests it's difficult to take her order.  AND to make matters worse- after all the crud you need to go through with her she's a HORRIBLE tipper!!  Sometimes lower than 8%!

Lea Michelle- yeah, from Glee.....  She's rude to the wait staff, and makes fun of them to their faces (on the other hand, at least she's not talking about you behind your back, but do you really need to know)?  She's super picky about the food and if it takes longer to prepare than she thinks it should she complains.  And loudly!  And NEVER tips more than 10%.  WAY below todays standards.  Especially when you have to put up with THAT!!

I think I'd give the tip back and say it wasn't worth it.  SO THERE!!!

You THOUGHT it was an ATM?????  THOUGHT?????  Wow.

Police are searching for two people suspected of breaking into a Hooters restaurant in Rancho Bernardo, California. They stole a jukebox from the restaurant's lobby. Police believe the thieves thought they were taking an ATM. The suspects were seen on surveillance video backing up a pickup truck to the front of the restaurant, breaking the glass door, wrapping a tow strap around the free-standing five-foot-tall juke box with the restaurant's logo, pulling it out and lifting it into the truck and driving it off.

Well- at least most of it was well thought out.....  Derrrrrrrr
