A SullivanCounty man makes an appearance in court.

 54 year old Jeffrey McMahan is facing nine felony counts of possessing animals for fighting purposes and other charges.

Investigators believe McMahan was selling roosters for illegal fighting purposes.

McMahan has bonded out of jail.

Mean while the other man that was also arrested in the same investigation is facing 45 counts in Vigo County Court.

Police found over 100 birds that they say were used for fighting in George Piker's barn.
