A Charleston patrolman is facing prison time after being charged with criminal sexual assault. 

33-year-old David Iwaniw was arrested by State Police for assaulting a 17-year-old girl. 

Iwaniw has been with the department since 2006 and faces 15-years in prison if found guilty.

He is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
