Last week the city council voted unanimously to move 20,000 dollars out of the city controller’s budget to bring in a consultant.

City council members say that they need help to determine the best way to save money and not cut the wrong things.

The city council has not hired the person yet and it could still be a while before they decide who they want to hire.
