A missing Terre Haute man has been found.

Morgan Johnson had been living in a motel when he disappeared in Plainfield in May 2011.

 Autopsy results show that the body found in a car on Friday was that of Johnson but a cause of death has not yet been determined.

Police found the car which was owned and licensed to Johnson in an industrial park retention pond Friday morning.

Authorities used cell phone tower records to determine the last time and location his phone was picked up.

14 other ponds in the area had already been searched including this one.

This time police used sonar on a radio controlled boat to search.

The body of water was too small for a regular boat.

The vehicle was found in about 8 feet of water and 20 feet from the edge.

The windows were rolled up, the doors were locked, the ignition was in the on position and the transmission was in drive.

Johnson was known to have suffered a medical condition that could cause seizures and he was being treated with medication.

The Hendricks County Coroner says an identity on the remains found in the car could be identified by Monday.
