A Linton teenager was flown to an Indianapolis hospital after a Thursday morning accident. 

Police say that 17 year old Mercedes Shafford was southbound on U.S.231 north of Worthington when she apparently drifted across the center line and hit a car driven by 21 year old Kainen Owings of Dugger. 

Owings and a 6 year old passenger were treated at local hospitals.
