A Friday morning accident on US 41 at 9^th street in Lyford.

Indiana State Police say that pickup driven by 71 year old Leonard Johnston of Clinton, was traveling north on U.S. 41 when he came around a curve and was not able to stop for a vehicle waiting to turn left.

The car that was trying to turn was driven by 21 year old Kenneth Lowe, Jr. of Lyford.

Both drivers were treated for minor injuries at Union Hospital in Clinton.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and drugs and alcohol were not a factor.
